How to reach us
Written enquiries are best addressed to contact@galganolegal.com, or sent through the form above. You may also telephone the office on +39 3300279081 during opening hours, or write to us at the address shown. The office is in Lugano, in the Canton of Ticino. Matters can usually be discussed by telephone or in person; if you would like to meet at the office, please arrange an appointment in advance.
The office telephone is also reachable on WhatsApp. Please do not send confidential documents by either channel: an enquiry does not create a lawyer–client relationship, and the firm will arrange a secure way to exchange documents once an engagement is in place.
What to include in an enquiry
A clear first message helps us to understand whether we can assist. Please include:
- Your name, the company you represent if applicable, and a telephone number at which you can be reached.
- A short description of the matter, the legal questions involved and the outcome you are seeking.
- The other parties involved, if known, and the jurisdictions concerned where the matter is not confined to Switzerland.
- Any key dates or deadlines, such as court or contractual time limits, and whether proceedings have already begun.
- Copies of any relevant documents, where you are able to share them at this stage. Please do not send original documents.
Confidentiality and conflict checks
Enquiries are treated as confidential. Information you provide before any engagement exists will be handled with discretion.
Before we accept an instruction, we carry out a conflict check to confirm that acting for you would not conflict with the interests of an existing client or our other professional obligations. This check precedes any engagement, and we will tell you promptly if we are unable to act.
Sending an enquiry does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship. That relationship arises only once we have confirmed the engagement in writing. Until then, please contact us immediately if a deadline is approaching.
Languages
We work in Italian, English, French and German, and provide correspondence and advice in the language agreed at the outset of the engagement.
